SENIOR FLORAL DESIGNER

We are looking for a SENIOR FLORAL DESIGNER to join our team and work with our clients.

You are: a highly motivated and a design conscious individual, with knowledge of the latest trends in décor, design, events, fashion, and food. Working on a variety of projects, this role requires an individual with a creative imagination and a strong attention to detail.

The successful applicant must have the following:

  • Experience (at least 4 years) in a floral studio specializing in high end and large scale installations
  • Experience in producing floral quotes and proposals to clients for orders
  • Experience in ordering flowers and managing budgets
  • Extensive knowledge of many different plants and flowers
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • You love change and can handle working in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Be able to work unsupervised and take the lead on floral arrangements
  • Experience with software such as Google Suite and Microsoft Office; a bonus if you’re experienced in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Great communication skills and excellent customer service skills
  • A valid Driver’s licence and thorough knowledge/experience driving in the Greater Toronto Area

This role is part-time with a flexible schedule, as many of our events take place during the evening and on weekends.

FLORAL DESIGNER

We are currently looking for a talented floral designer to join our innovative team.

You are: a highly motivated individual, with knowledge of the latest trends in décor, design, events, fashion, and food. Your experience in the industry is junior to intermediate, and you are looking to grow in your career. The successful applicant must have the following:

  • Experience (at least 2 years) in a floral studio specializing in high end and large scale installations. Experience in PR, Fashion, or high end Retail is also a plus
  • Experience in creating arrangements for residential and corporate environments
  • Knowledge of many different plants and flowers
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Experience with software such as Google Suite and Microsoft Office; a bonus if you’re experience in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Be able to handle change in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Be able to work with little supervision
  • Great communication skills and excellent customer service skills
  • A valid Driver’s licence and thorough knowledge/experience driving in the Greater Toronto Area

STUDIO MANAGER/ASSISTANT

Caspar Haydar Design is a full-service design firm dedicated to creating spaces, moments, and events that are an extension of our clientele. In addition to our design agency, we also offer the CHD Boutique, featuring a curated collection of home decor, gifts and florals. Each day, we bring beauty, glamour, and ideas to life and take pride in providing unparalleled service and consistent execution of cutting-edge design to all our clients.

We are looking for a STUDIO MANAGER/ASSISTANT to join our team. Working closely with our Creative Director, you are inspired by and are up to date on the latest trends in décor, design, events, fashion, and food. In this role, you will act as the central hub between our Design Studio and Boutique teams; an individual with a creative imagination, a can do attitude, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to act with grace under pressure will thrive in this role. The successful applicant must have the following:

  • Past experience working in Public Relations, Event Planning, Catering, in a Creative Agency, or a related field
  • Experience with software such as Google Suite and Microsoft Office; a bonus if you’re experienced in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience managing complex calendar scheduling and working with multiple team members to coordinate activities, ensuring optimal use of the Creative Director’s time and direct access
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Experience arranging travel plans providing: itineraries, agendas, and preparing meeting related documents and support materials
  • Experience responding to multiple queries from employees, clients, vendors, and the general public on behalf of the Creative Director, redirecting or escalating enquiries to appropriate sources as required
  • Supporting and managing a variety of special projects with high visibility and impact for the company
  • Possess sound judgment and discretion skills, managing highly confidential and sensitive matters. Strong ability to think independently and make decisions to direct and action appropriate next steps.
  • Be able to handle change in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Be able to work with little supervision ·   Excellent customer service skills
  • Tech savvy: you have a love of technology and know how to use it well
  • A valid Driver’s licence and thorough knowledge/experience driving in the Greater Toronto Area
